We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to work alongside the BID Manager as a Part-Time Office and Social Media Assistant.
The successful applicant will carry out a wide range of administrative tasks in the support of our business members and the BID office. They will also be responsible for the promotion of Peterhead and the Town Centre businesses through Social Media.
Previous office experience is not essential however a strong knowledge and proven practical use of Microsoft packages including Word & Excel is important. The candidate must be comfortable and have experience using of a number of Social Media platforms including Facebook and Twitter. Excellent communications skills and a good telephone manner are essential. The candidate will be expected to undertake training to help them develop their skills.
The post will be based in Peterhead town centre.

Please note interviews will take place on Thursday 29th March 2018, those selected for interview will be notified by Monday 26th March2018. The successful candidate will take up post on Monday 9th April 2018.
The successful candidate will undertake a 3 month probationary period, upon successful completion the post will initially last until the 28th November 2022. Should Rediscover Peterhead successfully gain a second business term, the post may be extended for a further 5 years, subject to satisfactory performance reviews.
