Tweed Valley Tourist Consortium have been awarded funding by the Scottish Government and Scottish Borders Council to develop a tourism focused Business Improvement District (BID) in the Tweed Valley. An individual with a background in tourism, project management and business planning is now sought for this position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self motivated individual to develop an exciting new tourism project working with a forward thinking business community.
The preferred candidate will have frontline experience of managing operations, have excellent communication and negotiation skills and have driven a customer service culture. You will be an effective communicator with a real passion for making things happen. This fixed term post will require you to work closely with stakeholders at all levels.

- Total contract; £27,000 - £30,000.
